I was a little surprised not to hear more people commenting on the plastic intake manifold. I was looking at thermal wraps for the stock aluminum manifold to minimise heat soak. I did put an insulator around the stock IC hoses which seemed to help during the summer and stop and go driving conditions.I will evaluate the best bang for the buck, and so far the plastic manifold looks good (with out modesty cover).
