Can a conservative disagree with any position in the Republican platform?
If I'm for "Right to Life", for a strong National defense and against more gun control, doesn't this make me a conservative? Now if I think the Pres. lied to us about Iraq and that we should never hove gone, does this instantly make me a liberal?
I know of no 2 Democrats that agree on every subject.On the other hand, it's hard to find 2 Republicans that disagree on any subject.
I don't like either label but if I have to tow the party line on every issue and never question the govt's motives in order to be conservative then I guess I'm one of those liberals out to destroy America, or at least some peoples vision of America.
Unless your studying propaganda or exercises in deception, I'd stay away from any web site that promotes itself as Conservative or Liberal. It's hard enough to find the truth. Looking in places where it can't survive is a waste of your precious time.
