Because you say that you have "a lot more power", I'll guess that the dealer didn't flash anything wrong in the PCM. Because you also say "it sounds like it is releasing some of the boost during acceleration through the BOV" I suggest you check....
#1, The the Mopar BOV plate for leaking. The bolts are hard to get at even for mechanics and the gasket is easily messed up.
#2, The plastic intake's O-rings. I've read reports of these being missing.
#3, The innercooler to throttlebody pipes and connectors may be leaking. These were removed and replaced to install the intake manifold.

All of these are common goofs after an install like yours. Not because you had a bad mechanic but because these leak issues don't show up until you take your car out and get on it.
