Sure it's pretty easy and cheap to overcome torque steer. Hold on with both hands, that's all. This trait is not only for FWD cars. I've driven rear wheel drive cars that where so damn powerful that when you went WOT from a stop, then chassis would twist somewhat and the front wheels would go somewhere else if you didn't use both hands. Conclusion? Yes a LSD is the best way to eliminate torque steer, but more than that, to apply almost equal power to both wheels. For just torque steer, use both hands.
