There was an earlier Chrysler service bulletin to gap the spark plugs at .040 instead of .050. Drivability is improved as well as overall performance. No effect on gas mileage, although some owners reported better gas mileage numbers.
Aftermarket spark plug wire sets, like Magnecor, Crane, or Mopar Performance, also solved many mis-fire problems. The OEM spark plug wires sets have been often replaced by owners and service departments because of the wires failing or have worn out prematurely, so the consensus is to just buy aftermarket spark plug wire sets for maximum longevity and reliability.
