Those little plastic star clips aren't made to come off and on, but if your careful you can reuse them. The shaft that goes into the hole has barbs on them and grabs onto the hole really well. Then get a needle-nose pliers behind the star in front of the blanket and gently pry the plug out with some force..but not too much. If you do break a couple, Chrysler sells them or you can pick some up at a flea market where's someone's selling tools.
As far as the wires go....I routed them all over to the rubber hose from the washer and down into the engine compartment. I covered both the wires and rubber hose with a wire loom. Seperate the wires and attach both black ones to any good source of ground. The white wires go together and routed through the engine compartment to the front drivers side lights. Access panel in the wheel well. Look for the black with green stripe wire to the parking light. That's the hot wire and splice into that wire. The washer light will now come on when the parking lights do.
P.S. After you ground the black wires, put the white ones together and touch the positive post located at the end of the engine compartment fuse box. The washer lights should glow and you know the bulbs and wires are good to that point, then continue to route the wires to the parking lights.
