I love chrome, but also love silver, and got the painted alloys - they match the body perfectly. Be advised that there's "chrome-clad" out there from Chrysler - actually plastic bonded to the wheel....
I had the painted alloys on my '02 as well, and had absolutely no problems.[:I]
