For the stock GT rims being only 6" wide, the 215/50's are the best you can do. And if you do intend to lower your ride, the taller profile will keep the nose from diving into parking curbs. There are plenty of lowering kits that also keep the stock rake in the PT if you like it. The H&R springs I have only lower it by 1 1/2" all around and keep the stock rake (At least with the top up, top down it flatens out)
