Your mileage will also increase as you put more miles on the car. After 3000 miles my mileage started climbing and I average 21-22 now (thats with a ton of short trips, idling, and lead foot goodness!) That being said, the PT has the aero properties of a brick, take that into account. The PT has a .38 cd as opposed to your vettes .29, which, while it may not sound like much, is the same difference between a Dodge Durango and a Lotus Elise. Anyway, enjoy the Cruiser for what it is, mileage be damned!
