This is not a job for the novice, it requires removing the fascia around the radio and the window switches and then removing upper A pillar covers and the upper dash cover.

I had the same light on the tach go out on my '01 a couple of months ago, so I replaced all six lights so I would not need to go in there again for a year or two.

I had removed the dash before when I installed the chrome vents on mine as well as several other projects, so I already knew what was involved.

Instead of using the OEM lights I picked up 6 each of the #74 type light bulbs (available at most auto parts stores) which snap directly into the holder in the back of instrument cluster. A package of two was $1.79.
The #74 subminiature wedge is rated at 1.4 watts and average life is about 500 hours.
