I had a bump on my front left tire at around 20k miles. Wasn't covered under warranty at all. Got the front two replaced at $185 per. At 40k had my balance checked due to vibrations at any speed. Found that the left front rim was bent. It was moved to the right rear.

Personally, I don't know why everybody knocks these tires, at 40k miles, I still have plenty of tread left, and now I am just due for brakes (Chrysler wanted to do it...no thanks). I guess I am just lucky. I am just hoping for one more 2-4 inch snow fall so I can do reverse donuts before I replace my brakes!
You paid $185.00 per tire!!!! For 2 front stock PT tires? Sounds like you got ripped off. That's sounds more like the price of a high performance, low profile tire. I paid $125.00 each for my 18" tires at Discount Tires. The smaller stock tires should not cost you as much as you paid.
