The term universal mount is an oxymoron. The PT has a thick steel bar across the rear of the seats and the original slides are at approx 13-1/2" O.C. Most unioversal mounts are 16" O.C. My slides were welded in place and a lot of the plastic covering had to be removed. So find someone who know what they are doing and have them do the installation.
