My only advice on performance parts for your 06 is to make sure they fit. I don't believe anyone makes a high flow filter yet for the 06. The stock air box is smaller than the pervious models. So I would call the manufacturer on anything you want to buy it assure fitment. But you can do things like take out the silencers in the box for improved air flow(don't get rid of the box or you will just be sucking hot air, bad), a custom free flow exhaust or maybe a kit if they fit the 06. I don't believe they changed the exhaust set-up, so the 3" turbo back from AGP would be the best. The VAK system is good, but I'm not sure if the intake piping is the same length, so it would be something to check.(ask your dealership if the part #'s are the same for 05 v.s. 06, if they are, then any of the hard intake pipes will work.) If you really want to big kick, get the SRT-4 stage 2 wastegate actuator. It works with the stock PCM but is adjustable so you can get more boost at wide open throttle without setting off engine check codes as long as you stay under 18psi. A boost gauge is a must for this mod. Good luck with the 06.
