Some dealers will waive the diagnosis fee, but most will not. The amount of the diagnosis fee is entirely left up to each dealer, so you have to call around and compare prices before you get it diagnosed.



They only admit that diagnosis is covered after they do the diagnosis, and they only do the diagnosis after you agree to pay the diagnosis fee.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that they usually do not cover diagnosis. So if you buy a Chrysler extended warranty and you car breaks down, Chrysler dealers can still charge you to diagnose what the problem is.

For that reason alone, don't buy it!
Let's stop spreading misinformation here....if it's a covered repair, the diagnostic is included. If it is NOT a covered repair, then no, the diag is not included.
