I have to say that the HYundai is actually a pretty reliable car, having seen first hand two of them, plus one my buddy had make it well past 100k without spending any money on anything other than routine maintenance.You can't take what happens to a car in a rental fleet and compare it to a personal purchase. I just bought my 05 PT convertible last week and the warranty was a very important thing, 3/36 bumper to bumper- 7/70 power train, and if I decide to keep it past 3 yrs I'm gonna spend the extra 2g's to keep the bumper 2 bumper for the remaining 4 yrs of the 7/70. Thats because I had a 91 shadow es convt turbo that really disliked having a head on the engine, damn thing kept blowing itself up. first at 50k then again at 72 k, just after all warranties ran out[xx(], thats why I opted for the slow nonturbo car this round. I really do hope this car stands the test of time, I wanted a pt the first time I saw one, but its taken me years to get past my last mopar experience, but I finally gave in when I saw this 05 midnight blue pearl/black top/ black and grey gut shining like a jewel in the lot, I was gonna go for an 06 sonata, but theres just something about the cruiser that I couldnt look away and had to have it, the best part wsa coming home and explaining to the wife why there was 4 seater convertible in the driveway as a back up car for our family of 5[}

] After a little fast talking and a promise to buy a new minivan after I sell my jeep she got over it.
