Just guessing, but I wonder if you have something loose or broken in the steering or half shafts? All front wheel drive cars have torque steer on initial take-off, but hardly noticeable under normal conditions. If something from the factory wasn't tightened down or has broken, it might exaggerate that torque pull, but then again, you would think that you should feel it at other speeds. [:I]
