If it's the Autotechnica mirror flamed with a box that is covered in real flames... then it comes with glue AND a small little black adapter. Although, I did get mine from a PT Online store.
Anyhow, the chrome mirror mount fits into this, is glued (I think at this point it is also), then slides into factor mirror slot and is glued (Again heh) along with a screw to tighten. I only had mine on for a day (just for a small little show with friends), then took it off so I didn't scratch it or anything. I play with my mirror too much in a day, and keeping the chrome clean was already too much in a day lol (I am picky about that...). Even have the chromed vent knobs that drive me CRAZY trying to keep them clean as well as other items in my car...
Maybe I should go check on those now... make sure...
