Forgot to mention it attaches to the factory glass-mounted bracket. All you do is slide it in with the provided bracket in the stock mirror holder doohicky and tighten the bolt down. Glue is for making the plastic attachment (peice that slides to stock part) stay put along with the screw. It is chromed metal.

I only had this mirror installed for one day and just personal taste, but I didn't like the flames on it (looks nice, but didn't fit with my car).

It also has a day/night switch for glare reduction at nite.

It is exactly how they shipped it to me -the fingerprints all over.

More information about it is that it (nor any of the other's I have seen from autotecnica) are not perfect. If you look at the top right corner of the picture at the side view of the mirror, a bit of the mirror is sticking out from the frame of the mirror. It does this on the other side as well so I am assuming it's normal. The reflection is still good even though.
I thought i'd point that out if you didn't see it.
