Turbos are known to work very well with autos because the RPM's don't drop between shifs and the turbo stays spooled
The chip in the gt-5 keeps the rpm's up.
Where did you get your info on the turbo not kicking in in first. most of the time I am not in first anyway. and for any of you auto or stck that are out to punch it for speed, "turn the trac off" all you are doing is breaking
