I bought the kit off eBay so I'm not sure what guage the wiring was but pretty good thickness, almost the same size as the negative battery cable itself.
No, I didn't notice any difference, but others have. "They" say the computer works better, no flickering lights, better/smoother idle and better sound out of the stereo. How could you go wrong? [:I] I wasn't having any of those problems but there was so much talk, and it's an easy mod to do, so I went ahead and did it. It's one of those things as in .... "it can't hurt, and might do some good".
