I HAD a second universal on the swivel socket...
I did it last night. Took a Dremel to the rib - it was about 1/2" -right on the centerline of where the plug is - I used a sanding drum that melted the plastic and left a rib about 1/8 - 1/4 " - it was enough, and then it was quite easy.
One more tip - the socket rubber would grap the plug and when I went to pull out, the universal would unclip from the socket - I took a thin strip of duct tape, put it on the end of the universal, shoved it into tthe socket swivel, and they were hard to pull apart - worked like a champ.[?]
