You might think so, but on both my '02 and my '05 I had the symptoms you describe, and plug/wires cured it, so once again I agree with Crewzin.
Besides, plugs & wires are relatively cheap and can't hurt.
Do a search here - there are instructions for replacing the plugs yourself.[?]
