First of all, thanks for polluting our environment and letting freon leak out of your car, knowingly.
Second of all, if your system was leaking, and they were able to tell, they probably lef tit empty, because it was leaking.
Or, the connector on the top/back of the compressor is broken off. I know when the motor gets raised up and down, it can sometimes grab on to the radiator fan shroud and break off if the motor is raised too high.
Check one of those two things. And fix your leak.
