That looks like the red coolant that PT cruisers use. I dries up pink on the outside. Looks like you have a gasket leak where the thermostat housing sits. It's an easy fix. You have to remove the thermostat and replace the gasket, I would also replace the coolant and have the radiator flushed to prevent any of that stuff from gunking up the inside of your radiator. My old neon once did this and it eventually started to overheat. Better to replace the rubber "o" ring around the thermostat too while your at it. The 2nd picture clearly shows it coming from the bottom of the thermostat housing plate. Where the black plastic meats the cast-iron part of the lower intake manifold.
