Hmmm, I'm not mechanically inclined at all and even though that might be a simple procedure for others with experience, I wouldn't even want to attempt it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

A fuel injector cleaner in the tank sounds a lot easier. Maybe I'll give that a try.

My concern here is, sure changing spark plugs and wires would help with the rough idle, but shouldn't these components last longer than 31,000 miles?

I don't have my PT Cruiser manual in front of me. Does anyone know how often (mileage) Chrysler recommends that the spark plugs be replaced?
