The limiter is there to keep 98% of the driving public from killing themselves. Anyone who has had high speed drivers training as well as drives daily on OEM high speed test tracks (I have a dream job) and has modified their vehicle to be stable at speed should have no problems operating a vehicle beyond the limiters artificially installed into our cars. If you are afraid of speed then do not drive fast, simply put. But, if you are more than a basic driver, have a clear and open road and a very good radar detector, enjoy the performance you paid for or installed. My PT is more than stable at 115 (limiter time) and still has nearly 1900 RPM to go. Driving fast is not dumb, but an expression of our love of the automobile, of being an American. God Bless America!!!
