I had a Flowmaster series 40 duel put on my cruiser. The series 50 was too long to fit. It produced a wonderful low rumble that was great however, it also produced a drone that would drive you nuts at just about any cruising speed. Back to the shop and 15minutes later with a resonator just ahead of the Flowmaster I have the sound I wanted. A great idle sound, noise on gentle acceleration, much better acceleration with my turbo lite, and either the exhaust or just turning 8,000 miles at the same time I can not say; but my mileage went from an average of 21.6 to 24.9. I love the Flowmaster and highly recommend one. I used the oval chrome tip and it looks as great as it sounds. [|)]

Best complement came from a Mustang club I joined at a dyno a few weeks ago when they all said it did not sound "ricey" and not all what they expected. They approved of the sound that came from the back end of my wonderful PT.
