So I'm at lunch in my 12 week old GT. I get ready to back out of a parking place and check to the right, left and in my rear view mirror. Not a car in sight, so I ease out on the clutch. I back up maybe 5 feet and look again in the rear view mirror just in time to see a big-ass black Cadillac Escalade backing out of the space behind me at full speed! SMASH-CRASH-BAM!
Soccer mom says gee, I guess it's my fault, I didn't see you! She says she was in a hurry to get $80.00 worth of sandwiches back to the office for a meeting.
I look at the Caddy, and there's a spot where the dirt is rubbed off the bumper. I look at my GT and the rear fender is crushed, the taillight is smashed, the rear hatch is buckled and the bumper covering is cracked.
The police came and said that since the accident happened in a private parking lot, with no witnesses, they could not determine fault or cite the other driver!
So my insurance has to pay my damage and her insurance has to pay her damage (!?).

So now thje best part; the damage to my car is $3,000.00 and it will be laid up for 7 working days getting repaired![:0]
