I'd still bet on the wires. I had a 6-month old set of Magnecor wires in 8.5 mm diameter (highly recommended here) and they started misfiring. This was after the stock wires did the same thing after 1 year of use. Tried Mopar Performance wires . . . they lasted 8 months. Each time, I replaced the plugs (first with NGK, then Champion).
I'm now using off-the-shelf NGK wires, resigned to the fact that I'm going to be replacing the plugs and wires every year. I have no idea why these cars go through wires so fast (I've even tried to use heat shielding on some of them with no better results), but all my late-model Dodge/Chryslers eat up plug wires unexplicably.
