Usually, any car in for service or warranty work, the vin number of the car and comments/reports/etc are typically inputted into the system. So even if the 2nd dealer said they would do the work under warranty, Subaru wouldn't authorize any warranty repairs because of the report on file from the 1st dealer (even though no work or service was performed) and the 2nd dealer should be able to see the same report on his screen when they enter the vin number. Funny part of that topic was the guy reinstalled all the stock parts
after the 1st dealer denied his warranty claim to try to fool the 2nd dealer. A stock WRX should run the 1/4 mile in the 13-low 14 sec range (1/4 mile times from sport compact car web). Not too many cars off the showroom floor can match those figures.
