Back in 2001 the buyer had the option for the disk changer with the stereo which apparently you have. My brochure for my 2001 said they put the changer under the front seat. There is no room under the passenger seat because of the optional sliding drawer. The drivers seat has plenty of room (that's where I had the amplifier for my subwoofer installed), so if you don't see the changer under your drivers seat, someone has decided that they wanted it more than you.
