Is what is really sad, is that if you get the in dash 6 disc changer, it is really a cool option and it's hard to imagine getting rid of a perfectly matched CD unit. I wouldn't mid getting all new speakers in place of the real ones and powerering them with a few better amps. If you have the Sirius satallite option, the stations are supposedly pretty clear since they are digital. You get 1 year free with the Dream Cruiser 2, which seems kinda cool.

I'd think about adding a bazooka tube for enhanced low end. You could tuck it away in the back and I'm sure it would hit pretty good.
In the 2001, the sound sucked. The speakers rattled and it was horrible with really low end bass. The highs aren't all that bad considering they give you 2 tweeters on the dash but no matter what it's not what they stick in the Lexus SC430.....Stock Mark Levison stuff which sounds excellent. It's crisp and clear and has really decent, accurate bass. They should have options like that in my opinion. If you don't want to go aftermarket, DC should give you some really good options and make people a bit more satisfied.
