Don't get one! I see far to many smiling faces driving far too many PT Cruisers. They used to be cool - now they're just commonplace!
Seriously, I find the 150 HP quite sufficient. I can easily hit 65+ MPH on the onramp to the interstate and easily merge into traffic. Once at speed, there is enough left to easily pass when needed. In a trip through the WVA mountains last year, with two heavy guys and lots of gear, the PT maintained 70 MPH right to the tops of those mountains. Of course, the 4 banger has to rev up a bit to deliver the goods, but she will deliver. My car is an automatic. The five speed is a bit more gutsy.
Now if you want to drag race the kids - wait for the turbo!
