Thanks Jody,

Took me a while to figure the pic thing out, finally found a place to park the images, the snapfish server. I was able to find the html location embeded in the source page. Easier this way since I don't have to maintain a web site to host the images.

Hey Crewzin,

I think that the panel I modified is forward enough in the wheel well to prevent water from getting into the engine, water seems to splash off the wheel off the back of the wheel well. The path way is pretty twisty for water to travel that far via the silencer snorkle - up through the filter - through the turbo - through the intercooler - through the carburator - through the manifold - then by chance into the engine. Long way for water to travel. Before commiting to the modification I did check the air intake box and I did notice some moisture pooling at the bottom, which led me to believe that water can get in there even when stock. Since the mod I have checked the air intake box and have not seen any increase in water build up, even when driving in the rain.

If you have any concerns add it to the "Cost Efficient Mods" thread so others might benifit. http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...age=2&ARCHIVE=
