Hey Turbo in Chicago...
We started one last summer here in St. Louis, Missouri and one year later we are at 140 members! We call ourselves the Gateway Cruisers of St. Louis.
We started simple... picked a location to meet at for a few weeks, designed a simply flyer to gain interest, and started passing them out to everyone we saw who had a PT in St. Louis. Keep them in your glovebox and when you see a PT in a driveway, at the store, or anywhere, slip one under their wiper.
Try to talk with local Chryler Dealers in the Chicago area. Tell them about your club and volunteer to refer people who you know are interested in buying a PT if they offer to pass out your club flyer when people come in to buy a PT.
Good luck... you'll be surprised how fast you grow. We now meet every Saturday at a different location for breakfast. We have picnics, cruises, carshows, meet & greets, and lots of fun activities year round.
Ever come thru St. Louis, email me... and join us.
