-The OEM manifold uses an engine block support bracket which the JBA does not use (can not use). Yes, the JBA weighs 4lbs less, but it seems to me that the bracket helps to support and stabilize the manifold and exhaust system. Not being able to use the bracket would seem to be asking for trouble down the road.
-ARP, Grade 8 and Mr Gasket make "locking header bolts" that claim to do away with having to periodically retighten the bolts. I don't know if they make them for this application or if the claim is true.
I would install the JBA only if I would have 70k+ miles of no header related problems.
