Hundreds of us are changing our own oil/filter. Make sure you keep good records, change the oil when the owners manual tells you to (or even sooner if you want to) and 'keep the receipts for the oil and filter'. IF, there's ever a failure of an engine part that uses the oil as a lubricant, the dealer would have to prove that you haven't kept up the maintenance agreement where the oil/filter is concerned. As long as you keep the things listed above, your warranty will stay in force.
The rest of the service items can also be done at any service shop a lot cheaper than the dealer. Again...keep all the records.
