My two thoughts on the subject are: Heavy traffic sucks with a stick. If you live in a heavy populated metropolitan area and drive the cruiser back and forth to work in stop and go traffic...there's no "thrill" with a stick. Second, if you plan on only having the PT for a couple of years, the automatic will bring a better price when you sell/trade it.
