Don't forget to upgrade your speaker wiring. The hiss you're hearing could be the cheap OEM wires.

The Boston has a high metallic sound almost a hiss, the Kicker has less crispness but the hiss is not there.
I still have not heard the alpine. I cant find a store that has one hooked up to try.
