Like Steve says, it is a little difficult to use, but I do recommend it for this problem. I have had cars with severe water spots, and even clay bar would not remove it. This stuff did. Also like Steve says, after you clean/remove you should seal the glass. If you look at glass under the micro scope is far from smooth. It looks like the moon, rough surface that can (and does) trap dirt particles. I use a sealer that I think is better than rain X, I buy it in gallons, and get a pro discount, so I can save you some money if you want to try some. It was formulated for cars in volcanic ash areas to seal the glass, and keep the ash from etching the glass. I found it to be great stuff. Gary
