I agree with Basset Hound too. Bob Stockum has rebuilt the "innards" of many PTs and added turbos - that's the safe way, other than the factory.
98 Neon Driver may be correct, but you have the weak rods to worry about.
The "Jet chip" retunes the engine computer - fuel & spark - to make use of high-test gas.
