The Tuner will go under the Driver's seat. However, you don't have to add the Sirius option to put a changer in. There are adapter cables available to allow installation of after-market changers to work with the changer controls in your factory radio.

The adaptors, or "protocol converters" run from $70.00 to $130.00 and can allow you to add Sirius and CD Changer or Sirius and Aux Input; all controlled by factory radio.

The $124.00 installation kit that you have to get to install the Mopar Sirius Tuner when a external Changer isn't already present is probably a protocal converter, judging from the price.

The Factory Radio will only display Program Category, Channel Number and Channel Name. It will not scroll the Song, Artist or CD that song came from data that is included in the Sirius stream. If the Factory radio is the base model (RBK - AM/FM/CD), it will onlly show the channel info.

This is the best that I can come up with. I got a faxed copy of the Sirius Option Owner's Manual from Chrysler Customer Service, and this is what I could decipher, along with the info on the protocol converter that I had already found.

I am running the Kenwood RF Modulated Sirius radio setup. It has a separate display unit, and will allow you to scroll through all the info on the data stream. It is about half the cost of the Mopar system.
