FWIW:

Recall: C09 Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) Clutch Recall

Warranty Claim: Pays 3.5 hours

The Parts Required for the Recall:

CAAO C090 CAAO(Letter O) C Zero 9 Zero - (this is the clutch / flywheel assy; don't know what all is included in it)

Part # 05013457AA - MOPAR ATF+4 / MS-9602 ATF Fluid

I got this from the Service Manager of the local Stealership (I had to go out of town to get a 5 speed), and called the Service Manager of the selling dealer to give him the part numbers to order. He still didn't have these numbers when I called.

I called Monday of last week (4/06/03) to Chrysler to confirm my VIN was on recall list, and immediately called the dealership to schedule the repair. As mentioned above, they were unaware of the recall and said he would call me back when they had confirmed it and had a listing of the part numbers to order for the recall.

If I hadn't gotten the info my self and called it into them, there is no telling how long the wait would have been.

BTW, When I got back in my GT at the local dealership, after getting the info from the Service Manager there, my clutch started making noise, creeping when clutch is depressed and hard shifting. I found it helped to "blip" the throttle prior to downshifting and in shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It is still in the intermittent stage....
I now have a little over 800 miles on the car.

I ordered the 2nd horn that was omitted on the '03 model while at the local dealership.
