Did they happen to mention if it changes the balance to oversteer?
Rolo, no they didn't specifically mention it, but the car felt amazingly neutral to me. Granted, I didn't push it hard, but it felt so completely different to my car that I was totally stunned! I have to think that the weight distribution would still induce understeer, but the mods certainly reduce the majority of it. The list of differences between it and mine were pretty complete; springs, shocks, tire width and aspect ratio, ride height, strut tower brace. So while I wouldn't mind if my car cornered like this one, I'd probably be happy meeting it halfway even!

I get the feeling that a stock Cruiser will exhibit a fair amount of trailing throttle oversteer if you get in too deep (haven't really pushed mine that hard yet). Back in '84 I got one of the first Omni GLH (no turbos 'til '85) and that bugger wanted to swap ends real quick if you backed off the gas in a hard corner. I don't think the heavily modded Cruiser I drove today would be that quick to bite you though. Pretty impressive all around.
