Default Caught in the Crossfire

Ok, here's my confession:

Last Friday, I went to my my local Chrysler dealer to get an oil change. Yeah, it's a little more $$$ than going to Jiffy Lube, but I get to B.S. with other Chrysler owners, and see what else is "out there." Anyway, I never stay in the customer waiting area, and I wander through the showroom.

This was the second time I was tempted away from my PT. The first time it was a Pacifica...wow... Last Friday it was a white Crossfire...oh yeah... Now I'm seriously tempted to trade in my PT for one of these , my impulses almost got the best of me, but I was strong. Sombody please help!

Now, if you've ever inspected a Crossfire more closely, it's worlds apart from a PT. It exudes the frivolous impracticality of a sports car, but WHO THE HELL CARES!!![}] Staggered wheels, no spare, power EVERYTHING, leather, 160 MPH (where the heck are you gonna go 160 mph in residential Chicago?) 6% the storage capacity of a PT (hey but it's got the LATCH system so Bambino won't have to share the trunk with the loaf of bread , gallon of milk and a stick o budda), a rear view about the size of a Polaroid... you get the idea. I'm 5'5 , and to me, the PT is is roomier than my apartment. I can stretch out, do a couple jumping jacks, etc. But the Crossfire fits like a glove! As snug as a bug in a rug.

I thought this was just a phase I was going through, but I am lusting over this car! Fortunately, I've only discussed this matter with my Fiance, not in the presence of my PT. What am I gonna say, honey, those other cars meant nothing to me...The leather interior is nothing compared to your 29 mpg highway rating and your 15-plus seating combinations....

Can someone offer me counselling? (Don't answer that.) Chrysler, damn you and your "Drive=Love" it's only causing more problems! That angelic gleam of white clearcoat is the sheep's clothing that hides the tempting impracticallity we all lust for![xx(]
