The ride is of course stiffer but it corners MUCH better than stock. Ultimately I think I need to upgrade to an adjustable shock/strut because the stock units do not have enough rebound control for the stiffer springs. I know that I will be able to optimize ride and handling when I do this but I don't have hte $500 or so to buy the new ones and I hate to get rid of perfectly good stock units. I will be able to tell more once I get the stops trimmed thougn as I know that I am bumping off of the stops in the rear until I get them trimmed. Right now the stop is only sitting about an inch above the seat and that is not a lot of available travel.

Oh, interesting idea you brought up too. I know that on most cars an auto trans weighs a lot more than a 5spd. I wonder if that make yours a little lower stock?
