Turbo XS and Hallman although looking almost identical their way of operating is diferent.

You are right, they are installed completly different.
The hallman is an old but functional design. The Turbo XS is a modern design. If you ever get to have them both side by side, you will notice that the Hallman looks like if it was built in a basement and the XS in a real factory. the internals of the Hallman are extremly simple. one Ball, one spring one screw with a knob. tighten the screw, the screw compresses the spring, the spring pushes the ball against the pressure creating a lock. But seven second cars use the Hallman ES, so, it should still work.

I had a Turbonetics before the Hallman and it would operate turning the knob completly oposite of the hallman...

Again, different aproches for the same efect.

The important thing is to make sure that you know which one is the inlet. and test it before slaming the accelerator...
