Looks like you've done your homework. Have you set any trouble codes?

As a sidenote, late model Vettes back out timing (known as torque management)just prior to shifting, i.e., 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4, to "increase" the tranny life. First time I drove it I thought I had a serious problem, of course, this has been corrected by re-programming the PCM. Possibly, D-C is trying to accomplish the same thing by backing out boost at shift points. Just a thought.
