The ping sounds like a carburated motor when the advance is wrong!
Also after the car shifts out of first and i'm cruisen but it could happen at anytime. Sometimes I can't get it to do it.Of course that's when I"m taking the mechanic for a ride.Like I said the last time I took him for a ride he said he heard it but there was nothing coming up on the computer to tell him what to do.So he said it was the gas changed to different types but it didn't work and is getting to be a pain in the A..
