I think you will find your engine will run worse with a cutout. You will drive the PCM crazy because it will try to compensate for the open exhaust if it doesn't like what is happening it will shut down the fuel and ignition. I doubt a cutout will work like they did on older cars This ain't your fathers Oldsmobile
